Shakitha attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and received her BS in Criminal Justice. As an astute businesswoman, she has used both discipline and creativity, to ascend  the corporate ladder, during her 20-year career in Human Resources. Currently, she works for  ABB, Inc. as a Global Markets Senior HR Business Partner. She is also a founding partner of  Ascension HR Solutions, owner of Kuumba Studios (a creative arts production company), and  she is currently pursuing a life and career coaching certification through the International  Coaching Federation.
